One of the best things about getting PrEP online is how convenient it is. You don’t have to come into the doctor’s office (especially useful in a pandemic) and you don’t have to go to the pharmacy to pick up your PrEP.

How to Get PrEP Online
If you’re considering getting PrEP online after hearing about the benefits, here is how you can do so:
1. First find a provider. In Canada, we recommend speaking to your family doctor (make sure they prescribe PrEP as not all do) or speaking to a Freddie provider (we think we’re pretty great!).
2. After filling out a short questionnaire and completing a phone consultation, you’ll then complete some basic lab work. Your lab results will be reviewed by your expert care team at Freddie, and if PrEP is safe for you to take, you will get PrEP delivered confidentially straight to your door! You can also pick it up at your local pharmacy.
3. After 30 days, you will need to get some additional lab work done to ensure your body is tolerating PrEP well (which it is by the vast majority of people).
